31.03.2021 · I am using LightDM as my DisplayManager however recently out of the blue the LightDM will present with . systemd[1]: lightdm.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.. I then Alt-F2 into tty2 and use . sudo systemctl start lightdm.service. and the system launches up LightDM with no questions asked. I'm using Ubuntu Mate 18.04 Without thinking I clicked on a user: Libvirt Qemu. I tried every password but I can't log in: Invalid password, please try again. But from the virtual command line (Ctrl+Alt+F1) I can access my home directory and all my files without problem. How can I switch back? Thank you
