2020-2-13 · Installed libreElec on a Raspberry 3b+ a couple of months ago, added tvheadend and set it up with hdhomerun. After very little hassle it just worked - and wife was happy. My and wife are the only ones on this network so I configured no login for everyday user - and a password for accessing admin.

2017-12-27 · Tvheadend is a pretty complex package with many dependencies, ffmpeg being one of them. Unfortunately, our ffmpeg package does not (yet) support the rtd1296 architecture. Therefore, Tvheadend does not either. @cytec and @ymartin59 have been maintaining the ffmpeg package in the past. Maybe you are lucky and one of them will look into it.

TVHeadend won't allow a user to login - Kodi

2013-3-18 · After a clean installation of tvheadend, i couldn`t login to the webinterface. I tried @openkamo solution "sudo dpkg-reconfigure tvheadend; sudo /etc/init.d/tvheadend restart" - but it didn`t helped. I also tried @Begall idea, but that was not long time solution for me, because everyone can now login to the webinterface.

2018-2-12 · I recommend you don’t mess with the defaults until you have everything working. Then use the webui to change the password in Configuration-Users-Passwords and make the corresponding change in the TVH client. (If you must.) Uninstall TVH, delete the configuration files with rm -r /home/osmc/.hts then install again. Thank you for your help.

Help! I can’t login to the web user interface.¶ If you build Tvheadend from source and just execute it, it won’t let anyone in. The rationale behind this is that we think it is bad to have services running with wide open administrative access. If you start Tvheadend with the ‘-C’ argument.
